fulfilled

Well, it's done. All pre-orders of the Tiny Pantry cookbook (and totes) have been shipped. How it took so long, I don't know. But, again, it's done and I couldn't be happier. I just want to say thank you to everyone who purchased for the support and for being so understanding and patient.

The feedback has been so awesome to get. Countless videos have been shared with me of folks gifting the cookbook and the excited recipients. So cool!!! Feeling so grateful.

As of right now, the cookbooks are sold out while we try to figure out a new way to distribute the printed books. We definitely want to keep the printed version of the book available but I myself cannot handle the fulfillment. This is for a few reasons, but the main one is that my parents' living room has been an absolute mess for the last 5 weeks and it's simply not a sustainable place to conduct warehouse operations from. That being said, I'm so grateful they let me use it!

All in all it took countless trips to the post office and hauling literally thousands of pounds in and out of my parents house. I've certainly gotten my daily steps over the past 5 weeks. When initially figuring how long this would take me, I simply didn't consider how much packaging material would be required. In total it was 6 full pallets. I also underestimated just how difficult getting the packaged cookbooks to the post office would be. Each post office can only accept so many packages, so this proved to be a challenge that I certainly hardly considered.

When you think about how something is packaged up, it's easy to overlook small details that add considerable time to each parcel. We didn't use any plastic packaging so everything was done with corrugated cardboard. This required careful consideration for exactly how much would be used and what these materials would add dimensionally. Simple enough problems to solve, but interesting aspects that I simply wouldn't consider.

Anywho, just wanted to post this update and thank you all again. I so appreciate the opportunity to do this and it's been such a great learning experience for me. The Tiny Pantry platform is one that I am so proud to be a part of and I see so much opportunity for cool projects in the future.

With gratitude, Cole
